About Us

The Port of Coeymans is a new and rapidly growing port on the Hudson River.  We offer extensive services and products to meet the various needs of our clientèle.

Port Staff Listing

Our port facility is located within an archaeological area and is overlapped by a Prehistoric era camp/occupation site. The property, formerly a brick manufacturing plant, was purchased in 2001.  When it became clear that the capital investment necessary to make the plant viable again proved too high, the vision of a marine terminal was conceived.

Over the past few years the focus has been on the restructuring and reclamation of the site to meet this new vision.  Completed projects include a high load dock, dredging of the river to a 32 foot depth, an inlet channel of 300’ with 15’ of depth, and renovation of some of the existing buildings.

With our deep-water port, we have some of the biggest ships traveling the Hudson.  From shipping steel to Turkey, precast concrete and prefabricated bridges to New York City, or bedding material to upstate dairy farmers, the Port of Coeymans is quickly becoming a gateway to the world.
